James Darbinian has been upped to senior VP, creative advertising at Twentieth Century Fox Intl.
Reporting to Scott Neeson, exec VP, international marketing, Darbinian will continue to develop creative advertising for all Fox Intl. releases, including overseeing advertising in Fox’s offices abroad.
Darbinian joined Fox Intl. in 1991 as director of creative advertising, rising to VP in 1994. He has guided and supervised the international marketing campaigns for “Titanic,” “The Full Monty,” “Independence Day,” “Braveheart” and “Speed.”
Before joining Fox, Darbinian was VP of advertising for Cineplex Odeon Films. He entered the film industry in 1979 at MGM/UA, serving in various marketing positions.
