Cathy McCormack has been named head of sales research for the WB Network with responsibility for all sales and marketing research.
Based in New York, McCormack will oversee analysis of ratings, demos and market trends for the netlet’s ad sales department. She reports to Jack Wakshlag, the WB’s research head.
McCormack joins WB from Lifetime Television, where she held a similar post. She also has had stints at Tribune Entertainment, King World and the TV rep firm Harrington, Righters & Parsons.
