Showtime has announced it will begin running 19 installments of the original anthology series “Dead Man’s Gun” on July 13, four months after the show’s debut in an original trilogy.
The first two of the 19 segs — exec produced by Henry Winkler and produced by Larry Sugar — will run back-to-back. The initial seg stars Winkler, while the second features “L.A. Law” alumnus Larry Drake. Subsequent episodes will run Wednesdays at 10 p.m., beginning July 16.
The series, set in the 1870s, is a succession of morality plays, chronicling the events that unfold in people’s lives when they come into contact with a mysterious dead man’s gun. Kris Kristofferson narrates.
