“A Conversation With David L. Wolper” is slated for the Jan. 22 general session at the National Assn. of Television Program Executives confab in New Orleans, running Jan. 19-22. Wolper, producer of such works as the landmark miniseries “Roots,” also will receive NATPE’s educational foundation award. Grant Tinker, the 1998 recipient of NATPE’s lifetime achievement honor, will host the Q&A sesh with Wolper.

Twentieth TV continues to line up station upgrades for “Access Hollywood.” The magazine show, recently renewed for a third season by the NBC O&Os, will be switching stations and moving to access or early fringe timeslots by the fall in Dallas, Minneapolis, Kansas City and four other top-100 markets.
