Eyemark Entertainment has sold its new weekly action hour “Pensacola: Wings of Gold” to the CBS Television Stations and the Partner Stations Network for fall.
The show, cleared in 60% of the country, will air Saturdays in access, leading into “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman” on the CBS stations. As expected, 3 Arts Television, which is an alliance between CBS, Sony Television Entertainment and 3 Arts Entertainment, will produce the show as its first firstrun syndication project (Daily Variety, Dec. 3).
“Pensacola,” a drama about a group of fighter pilots, also is the first project between PSN and Eyemark, which have partnered to develop new projects. PSN is a consortium of 69 stations in groups such as LIN Television and River City/Sinclair Broadcasting, Malrite Communications, Pappas Telecasting and Providence Journal Broadcasting.
