Kevin Nealon of “Saturday Night Live” and Zachery Ty Bryan of “Home Improvement” are starring in a two-hour Walt Disney TV movie “Principal Takes a Holiday” for ABC’s new Sunday night franchise “The Wonderful World of Disney.”
Writer Robert King (“Speechless”) is making his directorial debut with the comedy telepic, which has began production and is set to air next season. King wrote the made-for based on a screenplay by P.J. Torokvei and Paul Wolff.

Bryan stars as a high school prankster trying to scheme his way out of trouble, while Nealon plays a man impersonating the school principal. Also starring in the film are Rashan Nall (“ER”), Kurt Fuller (“Wayne’s World”), Jessica Steen (“Trial and Error”) and Carlos Jacott (“Grosse Point Blank”).
