Veteran writer-producer Rick Hawkins has joined Paramount Network TV’s sitcom “Sister, Sister” as executive producer for its fifth season.
“Sister, Sister,” which airs on the WB netlet, is also executive produced by Suzanne de Passe and Suzanne Coston at de Passe Entertainment.
Hawkins was previously executive producer of the WB’s “Wayans Brothers,” CBS’ “Major Dad” and the firstrun syndie version of “Mama’s Family.”
Also joining “Sister” as co-exec producer is Liz Sage, who, with Hawkins, wrote the now-famous “Gone With the Wind” sketch on the “The Carol Burnett Show.” Sage joins “Sister” from “Step by Step,” where she was supervising producer.
Other staff members for the upcoming season include co-executive producer Irene Dreayer, supervising producer Felicia Henderson and producers Laura Lynn, Regina Y. Hicks and Rushion McDonald.
“Sister, Sister,” which debuted on ABC but moved to the WB in 1995, stars Tia and Tamera Mowry.
