Gaylord owners OK TNN, CMT selloff

NEW YORK — Gaylord Entertainment Co. shareholders on Friday approved the $1.55 billion sale of Gaylord’s two cable networks, the Nashville Network and Country Music Television, to CBS parent Westinghouse Electric Group.

The deal remains subject to a ruling from the IRS, but Gaylord said it expects to complete the transaction by the end of September.
