Fox captures 2nd animals spec

Fox Broadcasting Co. has ordered another mammals-in-peril special from John Ratzenberg’s Fiddler’s Bay Prods.

The follow-up to “World’s Most Incredible Animal Rescues” is tentatively slated to air in early November. The first hourlong installment on April 20 scored a 5.0 household rating and 10 share in its Sunday 7-8 p.m. timeslot.

Ratzenberg, aka Cliff Clavin of “Cheers,” is co-executive producing the special with San Francisco-based distributor GGP and the Gurin Co.
