Fishman getting a friend

It appears that Hal Fishman, the veteran news anchorman who last month reupped for three more years at KTLA working on “News at Ten,” soon will be paired with a female co-anchor after about nine months of working solo.

According to sources, station news director David Goldberg finally is holding auditions to find a replacement for Marta Waller, who was bounced from the nightly anchor chair last fall.

Among those who have been tested are former KCBS reporter and anchor Terry Anzur, onetime CNN anchor Bella Shaw, former KTLA and KCOP reporter Dana Adams and current Channel 5 on-air staffers Michelle Ruiz, Sharon Tay and Jennifer York.

It’s expected a co-anchor will be hired by the end of August, in time to greet KTLA’s redesigned news set.
