Eric Schaeffer, who wrote, directed and starred in the feature “If Lucy Fell,” is developing a new romantic comedy for CBS that he would create, star in and executive produce.

CBS Prods. has ordered a script for the project, and Schaeffer has a one-year talent holding deal with the network. The script is about the life and romance of a 20-something guy.

In addition to “If Lucy Fell,” Schaeffer wrote, directed and starred in the features “Fall” and “My Life’s in Turnaround.” He also wrote and starred in the Fox series “Too Something.”

His CBS deal was brokered by Writers & Artists and attorney Tom McGuire.
