Duo inks TV deal with Par

Ranberg, Flett-Giordano get 3-year pact

Two-time Emmy Award-winning “Frasier” supervising producers/writers Chuck Ranberg and Anne Flett-Giordano have inked a three-year overall deal with the network division of Paramount TV to develop and produce comedy series.

The pair joined “Frasier” in 1993 during production of the show’s pilot as writing consultants. They were soon put on the show’s full-time writing staff. The team won Emmys in 1995 for the “An Affair to Forget” episode and a second (shared with the “Frasier” staff) last year for the “Moon Dance” seg.

The duo were promoted last year to supervising producers.
