Tom Cruise, Paula Wagner, Billy Wilder, Martha Williamson, Edgar Sherick, Saul Zaentz and PBS’ “The Great War” will receive special awards March 12 from the Producers Guild of America at the group’s Golden Lau-rel Awards.

Cruise and Wagner, who produced “Mission: Impossible,” will get the Nova Award for theatrical motion pictures as best new producers. Williamson will get the Nova in TV for producing “Touched by an Angel.”

Zaentz, who received the guild’s lifetime achievement award three years ago, will get the Eastman-Kodak Vision Award in theatrical motion pictures for producing “The English Patient.”

The Vision Award in TV will go to “The Great War.” Blaine Baggett was the executive producer, Jay Winter was co-producer and chief historian, and Carl Byker was the series producer.

Wilder will receive the David O. Selznick Lifetime Achievement Award in theatrical motion pictures, and Sherick will be honored with the David Susskind Lifetime Achievement Award in television.
