NEW YORK — Court TV has created a live, daily two-hour series aimed at answering everyday legal questions posed by cable subscribers.
Called “Legal Cafe,” the series will kick off July 14 at 9 a.m. (Eastern Time), with the veteran Court TV anchor June Grasso as host. Instead of operating behind an anchor desk, Grasso will sit at a table in a studio designed to resemble a cafe.
Each episode will focus on a given topicwith a guest expert invited to answer consumer questions.
Grasso, an attorney, has worked at Court TV since its debut in 1991. The senior producer of “Legal Cafe” is Emily Benton, who was senior producer of Court TV’s “Cochran & Company” and “Instant Justice.”
