“The Rosie O’Donnell Show” is headed west again for the February ’98 sweep to drum up ratings and money for breast cancer research.
The Gotham-based talkshow plans to relocate to the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank for the entire month. The trip will be sponsored by Chevrolet as part of the show’s new fund-raising partnership with General Motors.
“Rosie O’Donnell” scored big ratings last February, including a local sweeps win against talk leader “Oprah Winfrey,” when the show did a three-week stint at Universal Studios Hollywood.
“Rosie O’Donnell’s” on-air fund-raising drive kicks off in mid-December with a series of GM car giveaways and other contests.
