Just think of it as HBO putting its breast foot forward.
The Time Warner paycabler has moved the premiere of its HBO Original pic “Breast Men” out of a planned October slot and pushed it back to December.
Why? It seems that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and it was realized inside HBO that perhaps running a film that poked dark fun at the creation of the silicon breast implant and its subsequent health risks would not be the most sensitive thing the network might do during a time of intensive breast cancer discussion.
Somebody at HBO had better make sure December is clear, however. With the network’s luck, it could be Silicon Implant Rejection Month.
