HONG KONG — Chinese Television Network is spending nearly $8 million to relaunch its 24-hour satellite network this month.
CTN said it has spent the past six months getting ready “to present a new look in terms of programming, presentation, technology and quality to global audiences.”
Zhong Tian, the news channel, is adding more financial news and magazine programs. The Dadi entertainment channel is adding music and children’s shows. CTN broadcasts in Mandarin around most of Asia and in limited areas in North America.
