Argentine gov’t lauds Koplovitz

World Brief

BUENOS AIRES — Kay Koplovitz, founder, chairman and CEO of USA Networks, received an award from the Argentine government recently in recognition of her work on an anti-discriminatory campaign in Latin America known as Basta Ya a la Discriminacion.

The campaign follows a similar effort by Koplovitz’s network in the States called Erase the Hate.

Koplovitz told Variety that South African authorities are so fascinated with her message that they, too, have asked her to take it to their country.
