‘World’ notches marketing win

The Hollywood-based Film Information Council (FIC) has voted to give its excellence in film marketing award for May to the Universal Pictures/Amblin Entertainment marketing departments for the campaign on “The Lost World: Jurassic Park.”

Universal’s overall promotion campaign was cited by the FIC as the biggest in its history, with major partners including Burger King, Mercedes-Benz, General Mills, Hasbro, Kodak and Hershey.
