Twentieth TV taps Lachman

Twentieth TV has named veteran producer-exec Cliff Lachman to the newly created position of senior VP of programming and production.

In his new position, Lachman will oversee all programming and production of Twentieth TV’s firstrun product. He reports to Greg Nathanson, president of development for Fox TV Stations and Twentieth TV.

Lachman was most recently executive producer of MGM’s sophomore reality strip “LAPD: Life on the Beat.” He also has held several different programming and production positions at Paramount Domestic TV.

As senior VP of programming and production at Par, Lachman oversaw production of all syndie programming, including “Entertainment Tonight,” “Montel Williams,” “Leeza” and “The Arsenio Hall Show.”

Before that, he served as VP in charge of production and current programming, and he was coordinating producer for the launch of “Entertainment Tonight.”
