TNT has optioned the rights to the J.C. Pollock novel “Goering’s List” for Paula Weinstein and her Spring Creek Prods.
Book is a thriller, based on a true story, that details the international manhunt for the German terrorist who holds the key to one of World War II’s great mysteries: Hermann Goering’s list of Nazi plunder, detailing the secret loca-tions of some of the world’s great art treasures.
Pollock’s credits include the novel “Mission MIA,” which was the basis for the film “Uncommon Valor,” starring Gene Hackman; and “Cold Cold Heart” (written under the pseudonym James Elliot), which was optioned to John McTiernan. Pollock has also optioned part of his forthcoming novel “Sometimes When We Touch” to Quentin Tarantino.
“Goering’s List” was brought into TNT by the network’s executive VP of original programming Julie Weitz. The deal was negotiated by Paul Canterna and Ben Levine of Seven Summits Pictures and Management and Matthew Snyder of CAA.
