Televisa’s chairman Azcarraga resigns

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) — Emilio Azcarraga Milmo resigned Monday as chairman of Mexico’s Grupo Televisa SA, the Spanish-speaking world’s largest media group, due to health reasons, the company said.

Azcarraga, 66, will become the company’s founding chairman, the company said in a statement. His son, Emilio Azcarraga Jean, 28, was named president and chief executive officer of the company.
