Schulhof to aid tech firm

Michael Schulhof, former chairman and president of Sony Corp. North America, has made an investment in JFAX, a Gotham technology company.

JFAX, founded by 25-year-old Jaye Muller, uses proprietary technology to convert a fax into a digital data file that can be delivered to either an Internet e-mail box or a fax machine.

Users can receive voice mail using the same technology. Schulhof will work with Muller and newly named CEO Richard S. Ressler to identify and pursue future strategic partnerships and revenue streams.
