PBL, Lenfest gain slots on Galaxy board

SYDNEY – Kerry Packer’s Publishing & Broadcasting (PBL) and U.S.-based Lenfest Communications have gained board representation at Australis Media’s Galaxy TV, in return for their part in last year’s $250 million rescue package for the financially troubled satcaster.

PBL Enterprises topper Nick Falloon and senior Lenfest exec Donald Heller join the board as directors, while Lenfest topper Gerry Lenfest rejoins the board after having resigned last year during the worst of the satcaster’s liquidity crisis.
