NEW YORK — Moviegoers took the F train to HBO NYC’s premiere of “Subway Stories,” which was held under the stars in Bryant Park on July 29. They also came by taxi and limo to the feature based on 10 real-life stories from straphangers.
The screening was introduced by HBO NYC exec VP Colin Callender and Rosie Perez, who came up with the idea and exec produced the pic with Jonathan Demme and Edward Saxon.
Among those who turned out for the preem and the party afterward at Bryant Park Grill were Sarita Choudhury, Marla Hanson, Bill Irwin, Mike McGlone, Michael Rapaport, Perez’s fiance Seth Zvi Rosenfeld.
Also spotted in the crowd were HBO chairman and CEO Jeff Bewkes, HBO NYC VP Keri Putnam, “Subway Stories” producers Richard Guay and Valerie Thomas, Spalding Gray and Nancy Savoca.
