Mischer set for fourth Emmy stint

Award-winning producer Don Mischer has been set to log his fourth stint as executive producer of the Primetime Emmy Awards, serving in that capacity for the 49th annual ceremony being telecast Sept. 14 on CBS from the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.

Mischer — himself a 12-time Emmy winner — previously served as the Emmycast exec producer in 1993, ’94 and ’95. He also produced the opening and closing ceremonies of the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.
