‘Maps’ unfolds in Hollywood

No maps were needed to find the the premiere of Fox Searchlight’s “Star Maps” last Wednesday. All you had to to do was follow the young, trendy types flocking to the Hollywood Mann’s Chinese theater.

The screening of the indie, which is being promoted as a “Midnight Cowboy” set in Los Angeles, attracted most of the cast and crew, including Douglas Spain, Efrain Figueroa, Kandeyce Jorden, Lysa Flores, Martha Velez, Annette Murphy, Al Vicente, Vincent Chandler and the pic’s writer and helmer Miguel Arteta. Also in attendance were the film’s executive producer Esther Shapiro, Fox Searchlight prexy Lindsay Law and actresses Julie Delpy, Maria Conchita Alonso and Debi Mazar.

After the screening, filmgoers schlepped down to Sunset Boulevard for the post-party at the Hollywood Athletic Club.
