Mandalay TV adds Voci

Mandalay Series Television, the TV arm of Mandalay Entertainment, has tapped Joe Voci as executive producer for the production company’s television efforts.

Voci, who most recently was based at Warner Bros. Television, will executive produce Mandalay’s first series, “Totally Cool,” a comedy for UPN being done in association with Columbia TriStar Television. Voci will report to Mandalay Series Television president Scott Sanders.

While at Warner Bros., Voci developed and executive produced “High Society,” which aired on CBS last season. Before Warner Bros., Voci was at CBS, where he held various posts in the web’s comedy development arm. He also had a stint at New World Television.

Voci will executive produce “Totally Cool” with writer-producer Andrea Abbate, who will star in the show about a single mom and her teenage daughter. Recording artist Katalina will play the daughter.
