Nick Intl. taps exex

Miami-based cabler Nickelodeon Latin America has named Donna Friedman and Valerie McCarty as co-heads of marketing.

Friedman, VP of marketing and associate creative director, will be responsible for all ad sales support and will spearhead the creation of off-air materials and promotions. Friedman has worked for Nickelodeon since 1990 and was most recently associate creative director for Nickelodeon Intl.

McCarty, VP of marketing and communications, will be responsible for affiliate marketing and will continue her previous duty of overseeing press activities for the cabler in Latin America. McCarty joined Nickelodeon from Turner Intl. last year.
