LANE BEATS PATH TO CAA

Nathan Lane, star of “The Birdcage” and the play “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,” has joined CAA, departing William Morris and his longtime agents.

Lane will be repped by a team led by Bryan Lourd, Scott Landis and Karen Friedman.

Lane stars in the upcoming DreamWorks feature “Mousehunt,” and recently completed his run in “Forum,” for which he won a Tony Award.

Lane signed with Triad Artists 16 years ago and stayed with his reps when it merged with William Morris
