Kenneth J. Krezel, a producer and manager of Broadway, regional and touring theater for over 40 years, died Feb. 24 of a viral poisoning of the blood in Pasadena. He was 58.
Krezel was the general manager for the Broadway production of “Man of La Mancha” and worked on the Broadway shows (and later the roadshows) of “Your Arms Too Short to Box With God” and “Grease.”
He served as general manager of Connecticut’s Goodspeed Opera House in the 1960s, and was a representative for Actors Equity in New York in 1968-69.
Krezel also owned of the Ivoryton Playhouse in Ivoryton, Conn.
He is survived by his wife, Lillias, as well as three daughters and a grandson.
