Jury’s in on ‘Men’ premiere

Showtime and MGM TV held court Monday at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences for the preem of their updated jury drama “12 Angry Men.”

Showtime prez-CEO Matthew C. Blank was there along with the net’s president of programming, Jerry Offsay. Representing the studio was MGM chairman-CEO Frank Mancuso and MGM Worldwide TV Group prexy John Symes. Director William Friedkin brought his wife, Paramount Motion Picture Group chairman Sherry Lansing. Rounding out the party were producer Terence A. Donnelly and cast members Jack Lemmon, Ossie Davis, Tony Danza, Courtney B. Vance, Edward James Olmos, Mary McDonnell and William Petersen.

Spotted in the crowd were Robert Evans, ICM’s Jim Wiatt, thesps Angela Bassett and Jean Stapleton, former D.A. Ira Reiner, rocker Meat Loaf and Jackie Collins.
