Glover bringing ‘Da Funk’ to NFL

ABC Sports plans an unlikely pairing of country singer Hank Williams Jr. and Savion Glover, the star of Broadway’s “Bring in Da Noise, Bring in Da Funk,” for a new opening of “Monday Night Football.” Williams will still sing his “Are You Ready for Some Football” ditty, but instead of cheerleaders, Glover and other “Noise” hoofers will provide a choreographed tap routine for a four-minute musicvid and a shorter opening for each game.
