Elder to go ‘Live’ on CNBC

KABC radio talkshow host Larry Elder has been tabbed to guest host next week for the vacationing Geraldo Rivera on the CNBC show “Rivera Live.”

Elder, whose KABC show runs weekdays from 3 to 7 p.m., will sub on CNBC Monday through Friday nights (March 10-14) on the program that airs live nightly at 6 p.m. and repeats at 9 p.m. on the West Coast.

Said Rivera: “I’m a huge fan of Larry Elder. He’s extremely articulate and cool under fire, and with him I am leaving my show in very capable hands.”

A “60 Minutes” profile of Elder by veteran correspondent Morley Safer is scheduled for broadcast on the CBS newsmagazine later this month.
