Bill Holland, a theatrical manager and production stage manager who worked in over 150 productions in the L.A. and Southern California area, died Jan. 15 in Canoga Park after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was 65.
Holland began his career as an actor-director in stock before working as a stage manager at various theaters, including the Long Beach Civic Light Opera, the Starlight in San Diego and the Lobero in Santa Barbara.
For 12 years he served on the staff of the Los Angeles Civic Light Opera at the Music Center as production manager and director of operations.
He is survived by his wife Sammie, two sons, three daughters and four grandchildren.
Family suggests donations to the USC Norris Cancer Research Center.
