Longtime CAA television agent Abby Adams is departing the agency after 13 years.

Adams, who had been a packaging agent at the percentery, is planning to pursue a new career path in children’s educational programming, according to a CAA spokeswoman.

“Abby is somebody I have always liked as a person and respected as a colleague,” Lee Gabler, co-chairman of CAA and head of the agency’s TV department, said in a statement. “We will miss her.”

Among the clients that Adams has represented (some along with other agents) are writer-producers Carol Flint (“ER,” “L.A. Law”) and Matthew Carlson (“Men Behaving Badly,” “The Wonder Years”).
