Twentieth Century Fox Intl. has hired Ann J. Thompson as director of marketing services based in Los Angeles.
In her new duties, Thompson will function as a primary liaison between the Fox Intl. home office marketing-department heads and the regional and field offices overseas in the development and circulation of marketing materials, strategies and information.
“We look forward to working with Ann in this capacity,” said Scott Neeson, exec-VP, international marketing for Fox Intl. “She possesses a wide knowledge of international marketing and distribution services, which will prove beneficial to our organization.”
Thompson comes to Fox after five years with Turner Pictures Worldwide Distribution Inc., where she most recently served as director of international distribution services.
Before Turner, the UC Santa Barbara grad worked in marketing and distribution for Hanna-Barbera Intl. Home Video. She began her career in Hollywood as a coordinator at Warner Bros. licensing and merchandising for Europe.
