Tony Cornejo, a sound editor and mixer at Interlock Audio Post, died Oct. 25 of unreported causes in Los Angeles. He was 30.
Cornejo joined Interlock as an assistant mixer, contributing to a wide range of television series, specials and independent films. Credits include the recent “Bandwagon” and “The Souler Opposite.”
Cornejo built a loyal client base as a meticulous ADR recordist. He recently began working as a dialogue editor and mixer, completing an ADR recording session the night before his sudden death.
He also played guitar with the Los Angeles band Elysium for a number of years.
Cornejo is survived by his parents and a sister.
