ICM has signed producer John Schulian, who will be repped by Paul Haas, senior VP of television at the agency. Schulian recently co-executive produced “Hercules,” the syndicated series from Universal TV. He also co-created and served as exec producer for Universal’s “Xena.” His other credits include “Midnight Caller,” “Reasonable Doubts” and “Wiseguy.”

Actor Taye Diggs, who was one of the original cast members of “Rent,” has signed with CAA, where he will be repped by Rick Kurtzman and Kim Hodgert. Diggs currently is shooting Fox’s adaptation of Terry McMillan’s novel “How Stella Got Her Groove Back,” in which he co-stars opposite Angela Bassett.
Diggs is managed by A Management Co.
Two-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald (“Carousel,” “Master Class”) has signed with the Gersh Agency, where she will be repped by Bill Butler in New York and Bob Gersh in Los Angeles. McDonald will appear onstage next in the Broadway company of “Ragtime,” and can be seen onscreen in Nicholas Hytner’s upcoming film “Object of My Affection” for Fox.
Comedian-actress Margaret Cho — who previously starred in the ABC series “All American Girl” — has signed with Abrams Artists. Cho currently is lensing the indie feature “Spent,” written and helmed by Gil Cates Jr.
Actress Rashida Jones, the daughter of Quincy Jones and actress Peggy Lipton, has signed with Writers and Artists Agency. At the percentery, she will be repped by Jeff Berger in New York and Sarah Clossey in Los Angeles.
Jones recently appeared in the indie feature “Myth America,” and the CBS miniseries “The Last Don.” The recent Harvard grad also serves as a correspondent for “Vibe TV.”
