Tom Burke, director of movies and miniseries at Fox Broadcasting Co., has joined ICM as a television packaging agent. At Fox, he supervised the development, production and promotion of longform programming. Before that he had been at CBS Entertainment as director of talent and casting in the telefilm and miniseries division. He reports to Carrie Stein, who runs ICM’s longform packaging department.

Jeff Berger has joined Writers & Artists Agency’s New York office. Berger, who had been at ICM, brings with him actor John Cullum (“Northern Exposure”), Oscar-winning music supervisor Jonathan Tunick (“A Little Night Music”) and Priscilla Lopez, Tony-nominated actress for “A Chorus Line.” The agency also has promoted Jason Gudgeon to the talent department in the Gotham office.

*British director Richard Kwietniowski, who directed “Love and Death on Long Island,” has signed with Victoria Wisdom of the Becsey Wisdom Kalajian Agency. At Cannes, the pic, which stars John Hurt and Jason Priestley, won the new Pierrot Award, given to a first-time director for excellence in filmmaking.
