Olive Victoria Abbott

Olive Victoria Abbott, an actress and sister of the late comedian Bud Abbott and mother of TV director Norman Abbott and script supervisor Betty Abbott Griffin, died Aug. 8 in Los Angeles. She was 101.

Until recently, she remained active as historian for the Motion Picture Mothers Club, which raises funds for the Motion Picture Country Home and for the Smart Set organization.

She is survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Remembrances may be sent to the Motion Picture Country Home.
