French actress Olga Georges-Picot died in Paris on June 19. She was 53.

The daughter of a noted ambassador, Georges-Picot began her career as a model before studying at the Actors Studio.

Her films included Jean Herman’s “Adieu l’ami” with Charles Bronson and Alain Delon (1968), Fred Zinnemann’s “Day of the Jackal” (1973), Alain Robbe-Grillet’s “Glissements progressifs du plaisir” (1974) and Woody Allen’s “Love and Death” (1975).
