Dennis Adomaitis has been promoted to exec VP of international operations of Warners Bros. Studio Stores.

The stores, the retail arm of the studio’s Consumer Products division, sell clothing, toys and other products centered on Warners-owned animated characters and film properties.

Adomaitis will supervise the studio’s owned-and-operated stores in the U.K. and Germany and joint-venture stores in 10 countries worldwide. The studio is planning to expand the stores and aims to have its retail shops in 25 countries by the year 2000.

A seven-year veteran of the Studio Stores unit, Adomaitis was promoted to senior VP of international operations last year. He reports to Peter Starrett, president of Warner Bros. Studio Stores.

Prior to joining Warners, Adomaitis served in the retail clothing business, including chief financial officer for Guess? retail stores in Los Angeles, and in financial management posts at the Limited, in Columbus, Ohio.
