Warner Bros. has promoted Mark Matheny to senior veepee of international licensing for the studio’s consumer products division.
Under the new organizational structure of the division’s international area, the licensing division’s three regional vice presidents will now report to Matheny.
“Mark has done an outstanding job of leading our team in Europe, and during the past three years our revenues in his region have grown substantially,” said George Jones, president of worldwide licensing for the consumer products unit.
Matheny has previously served as VP and managing director of WB consumer products’ licensing operations for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He has also held the post of veep for international business development, where he was responsible for establishing strategic partnerships and promotions.
Matheny joined WB consumer products in 1989 as general manager, international licensing.
