Teleuno beefs up advertising team

Latin America net Teleuno has expanded its ad team with four new executives in response to greater distribution and subscriber growth and the increase in local and pan-regional advertising.

A subsidiary of the Spelling Entertainment Group, the satellite cable network was launched in March 1993 and now has a subscriber base of 6.2 million viewers.

John MacDonald was promoted to the position of director of advertising sales, based in Miami. Before joining Teleuno last year, he worked in advertising sales for Televisa’s editorial division, Hispanic Business Magazine, and Ziff Davis Publishing.

Emilio Benzadon and John Leonte have been hired as account executives and will oversee pan-regional sales for Latin America and U.S. accounts, respectively. Alexander Lama is the new associate account executive.
