Harlan Bratcher has been promoted to senior VP and general manager for Sony Plaza.
In his new position, Bratcher will oversee day-to-day operations at the New York entertainment site, including the public atrium, Sony Style store and Sony Wonder Technology Lab.
In addition, Bratcher will work with Sony Development on merchandising concepts and retail development at Sony’s new 350,000-square-foot retail entertainment center currently under construction at Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco, as well as Sony Europe’s 1.2 million-square-foot headquarters now under construction in Berlin.
Bratcher joined Sony in April 1995 as VP and general manager of Sony Plaza. Before that, Bratcher assisted in the creation of Q2, a new home shopping channel for QVC, where he served as senior VP and general merchandise manager.
