Premier Advertiser Sales, the ad sales wing of Paramount Television Group, has changed its name to Paramount Advertiser Services as the unit broadens the scope of its activities to include the international and new media sales arenas.
“We’ll be extending our focus to develop strategic relationships with advertisers, advertiser-supported new media and international projects,” said Par Advertiser Services prexy Marc Hirsch.
As part of the overhaul, Par has upped several of the division’s key execs to newly created senior management posts.
Michael Kerans, a 13-year studio veteran, has been bumped from veepee to senior VP of strategic planning and sales. Chris Callahan has advanced from VP and controller of Premier to senior VP of finance and administration. Sean Cowan has been promoted from account executive and inventory coordinator to VP and national sales manager.
