Cheryl Inouye has been promoted from VP of finance to chief financial officer at MDP Worldwide, the company announced. She will be in charge of the corporate finance department, as well as oversee the company’s accounting, financial reporting and production participation units.
Before joining MDP in 1995, Inouye was a senior manager at Stephen J. Cannell Prods. Inc.
In addition, MDP has tapped Eric Christenson as VP of worldwide distribution. He will oversee licensing, sales and distribution activities domestically and overseas. Most recently, Christenson was instrumental in selling domestic rights of MDP’s “Blackout,” helmed by Abel Ferrara, to Trimark Pictures, and Tim Roth starrer “Liar” to MGM.
Christenson had been MDP’s director of worldwide distribution.
