Kate Juergens has been upped to vice president of primetime series at NBC, reporting to senior VP David Nevins.
Juergens will continue to oversee development and production of primetime series, including the Sharon Lawrence sitcom “Fired Up” and frosh comedy “Jenny,” which she has worked on since their inception.
Juergens joined NBC in 1991 as an assistant in the programming department and was upped to manager of primetime series in 1995. She was then upped to director, overseeing production on various shows, including “Wings.”
Prior to her tenure at the web, she worked at CAA’s TV literary department.
