Gary Robinson has been named senior VP of business and legal affairs at Granada Entertainment USA, which is headed by president Scott Siegler.
Granada produces ABC’s Thursday drama “Cracker,” which last week was picked up for a full season. Robinson will oversee all business and legal affairs in North America, including projects for network, cable and firstrun syndication.
Robinson most recently served as senior VP of business and legal affairs at Solomon Intl. Enterprises. There he was responsible for negotiating all national and international acquisitions, productions and joint ventures, and he oversaw the company’s overseas distribution.
He has also worked in the legal departments at ICM, Dick Clark Prods. and MGM, as well as at New York law firm Weil, Gotsal & Manges and Los Angeles firm De Castro, West & Chodorow.
